Large-scale art commissions for interior and exterior spaces: commercial, public, and private settings.
Experience includes site-specific projects integrated into existing or planned architecture including transportation centers, hospitals, schools, and libraries. Commissions involve collaboration with architects, engineers, fabricators, installers, and builders. Art works are executed in wide-ranging mediums including: architectural glass, mosaic, stone, metal.

CONE HEALTH CANCER CENTER Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington, NC Glass wall art in the infusion room of new cancer center: 5 glass panels 36" x 78" each. Glass art will be developed from artist's photographs of the Haw River view project METRO GOLDLINE FOOTHILL EXTENSION Azusa, CA 28' glass canopy, 4 mosaic benches. ROBERT F. KENNEDY COMMUNITY SCHOOLS Los Angeles, CA Interactive stone and tile labyrinth, 690 sq.ft, has 11 large slabs of basalt stone positioned along the labyrinth's path to the center on which students can create their own chalk art Commissioned by LAUSD, located at the site of the historic Ambassador Hotel view project PEARL AVENUE LIBRARY San Jose, CA Four art glass windows embedded with 144 solar cells that provide electricity for artist-designed lighting fixture suspended in library entrance. Each window explores the evolution of an alphabet: Latin, Indian, Vietnamese, Russian. view project |
EDUCATION
Lynn studied at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC, and was a member of the Athens School of Fine Arts artists’ residence program in Rhodes, Greece. She taught at the Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York City, and addressed the 2013 annual conference of AMERICANS FOR THE ARTS in Pittsburgh, PA: Ethics in Public Art: Best Practices.
